JOB DESCRIPTION
As a "Fluffatier" you will be the face of FLUFF, therefore, a fun and cheerful personality is a must! You will be working in all weather conditions and different types of events. Mostly, you will be spinning cotton candy live at our events. As we grow and market our pre-packaked products you will have the option of assisting with that as well (pay may differ for pre-packaged product work). We mainly work markets in the local area and the list below is what your day would look like.

2-3 Hours prior to event (depending on location, more time may be needed) arrive at FLUFF's location to load up.

Check your list to ensure you have everything you need to bring to the event. Check with Owner to ensure counts/supplies are appropriate and ready. Ensure sufficient funds are in your cash box for all cash transactions.

Drive to event and set up; setup should be completed at least 1/2 hour prior to event commencing.

Spin cotton candy live for all customers. Ensure all sales are recorded via CC, Venmo, Cashapp, ApplePay, or cash.

At end of event, take down stand and drive back to FLUFF location.

Unload and reconcile all sales.

Average day is about 8 hours for a Market day. Our private events are 2-3 hours so an event average is 6-7 hours.

Work is paid weekly as an independent contractor. $15 per hour, plus mileage (.67 per mile - *You will need to keep a log). A 1099-NEC will be filed at year's end.
Ideally, you own a truck and can transport one of the carts. Otherwise, the set up is a 10x10 tent and table.
